I commenced study of Photography in New York in 1986 and continued, on my return to the UK, with a 3 year City and Guilds Photography course at Nene College, Northampton. Passing with distinction I was awarded a Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society.
This was followed by two years of independent study in the art of Restoration and Conservation of photographs with ongoing studies at Camberwell College of Arts.
Established in practice in 1992, I specialise in traditional Restoration, Conservation and reproduction of old photographs producing silver halide photographs in the darkroom to ensure archival permanence.
